Wolverhampton Wanderers appear to have lost interest in Marc-Antoine Fortune.

Mick McCarthy was expected to make a move for the Nancy striker, who impressed during a loan stint in the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion last season.

However, it appears as though the former Ireland coach has cooled his interest in Fortune, following comments made by agent Michael Manuello.

"I have not heard from Wolves for a long time. The club has to make an offer and we have been patient,” he said. "But if the club does not make an offer, then we move on.”
