Burnley miles apart with Scotland valuation
Burnley Football Club are miles away with their valuation of Jason Scotland.
The Premier League new-boys are interested in taking the Trinidad & Tobago international, but Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has revealed an initial bid has been rejected.
"Burnley have made an approach for Jason Scotland, but our valuation for a player who has finished top scorer for the last two seasons is miles apart," he told the club's official website.
"We value Jason very highly; after all he has scored 53 goals in the last two seasons for us. I think everyone in football is well aware now that we do not need to sell anyone.
"We certainly won't let any player go for below what we think they are worth; whether that's Jason Scotland or anyone else for that matter."
