Javier Garrido aims to become a regular starter at Manchester City Football Club.

The former Real Sociedad fullback had a hit-and-miss debut season in England, but he has started the last three games for the Blues and scored a fine free-kick in the 3-2 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

"I've been competing for a place with Michael Ball and, as a result of injuries, I've been in and out of the side during my first season here," Garrido told Guillem Balague's official website.

"However, I plan on nailing down a regular starting place, having a good season and getting lots of playing time and then, hopefully, an opportunity will arise to show what I can do."
