£6million United duo heading to Sunderland?

Kevin Nolan and Alan Smith are being linked with a move to Sunderland Football Club.

Both players have been tipped to leave Newcastle United following their relegation, yet they could stay in the North East if Steve Bruce can entice them to Wearside.

Nolan, who only moved to St James Park from Bolton Wanderers in January, cost the Magpies £4million, and the Black Cats are willing to pay the same to take him this summer.

Smith, meanwhile, has endured two miserable years on Tyneside following his move from Manchester United, and an offer of £2million is likely to be enough to land him.

I dont know about Nolan and Smith but Newcastle have been banned from training on the beach before they play at Blackpool? Apparently, they'll only allow 10 donkeys on at the same time.

Why would we need these players who have just proved they are not good enough to stay in the premiership? I think they'll stay anyway, even if it's just to wear the new away kit...

there is no way this is true...no way can these players take us to the next level absolute flops up the road who will cost about 100k a week wages between them...dont reckon Bruce would sign these...Cattermole, Dunne, Bent and Keane seem more probable
