Tottenham Hotspur forward set for £4million exit?
12:52 PM 22 June, 2009
Atletico Madrid have been linked with a move for Giovani Dos Santos.

The Mexican international only moved to Tottenham Hotspur from Barcelona last summer, yet he endured an injury-hit campaign in which he ended on loan at Ipswich Town.

It is believed Harry Redknapp is willing to listen to offers for Giovanni, 20, this summer, and reports in the Sun claim Atletico will lodge an offer of £4million for his signature.

Redknapp doesn't develop youth, he destroys it.- Rio,Lampard,Defoe,Carrick,Cole,Johnson, - no what he actually did was realise that Spurs were in a dire situation and couldn't afford to rely on 18 year olds to get them out of it so sent them on loan until they were safe. Frankie J- you are inevitably going to be some north london muppet who has no real expertise in football, probably gets to a game once a season if he's lucky and thinks that gives him the right to slate one of the games good guys in Harry Redknapp...you to epitamise a Spurs fan though.

Redknapp doesn't give anyone a chance. He is a walking joke. I say let Dos Santos go and find a club where he is appreciated rather than stay at a club with a shiftless slattern at the helm. Redknapp doesn't develop youth, he destroys it.

Personally I am a Gio fan but I am Arsenal 100% all Gio needs is a decent team willing to give him a chance to shine. For example Kieran Gibbs at Arsenal, I guarantee no other club would have let a young player be a started during a Champion League game. Gio get out of Tottenham you deserve a better team.

Keep Gioand loan him out again so he could develop into a better player. The boy got talent, just needs time to develop it.

What people seem to miss is that it takes time to develop potential and that is something that Spurs never have. When you have a squad brimming with internationals you can ease this potential in and bring them on gradually with damage limitation and minimal risks. Look at Arsenal, a team brimming with potential who at the moment fall just short of the mark. Gio is not ready to play 30plus games a season and perform with the consistancy that is required. He is better off going out on loan again or moving on where he is not under so much pressure to perform.Sell Gio for £4m and wait for the potential to come out or pay £2m for Van Niss who is proven. I know what I would choose.

the problems not that arry can't see talent its that tarabbt is a more promising talent and niether are ready to play 1st team, i agree i would like him to stay but without spurs playing in the reserve league this coming season there will be no way for him to prove himself to us, unless he goes out on loan, but maybe arry is intent on keeping him, he had a good loan at ipswitch and mayb arry now wants him in and around the first team we just don't know

This kid should be given a chance. Can Thierry Henry really be so wrong when he says someone has what it takes to be world class. Do we need 4m so desperately that we need to sell what could potentially become one of the world's leading talents, if of course, he is given a chance to grow, develop, and shine.

That Gio is youngster with great potenial but Harry has never given him a fair chance. He would be so dangerous come on in the last 20 minutes when where chasing games. Which I'm sure we will be doing next season, Look how well he done when he was selected in the eufa cup scored a great goal against the now champions shaktar and got shipped out to Ipswich for his reward where continued to do well my I add Harry whats your problem can't you talent?

shame.. could have been promising.. but didnt see enough of him.. if we can bring in some big names then take the 4 million.. if theres no big names on the list then keep the youngster
