Tottenham Hotspur defender set for £5million Everton switch?
11:15 AM 25 June, 2009
Alan Hutton has been linked with a move to Everton Football Club.

The Toffees are refusing to match Sheffield United’s £7million asking price for Kyle Naughton, and the Daily Star claim David Moyes will now turn to Hutton.

Since moving to Tottenham Hotspur from Rangers the 24-year-old has struggled with injuries, but the Toffees may be willing to take a chance on him at £5million.

The Scotland international made just five Premier League starts for the White Hart Lane club last season, and he could be a victim of Harry Redknapp’s squad shake-up.

Where do you dig this rubbish up? Get rid of Hutton would be a huge mistake and Harry knows that, for gods sake that would leave us with Chimbonda at right back and then we are screwed!

Why on earth would we sell Hutton for £5m? He cost nearly twice that and is good enough to command a much higher price...

If Kyle Naughton is worth £7 then Hutton is worth at least double that. Who is Kyle Naughton?

i don't think harry will part with hutton and when he gets a run going i'm sure he will be one of the young players they need to help them make a push to the top.Good solid player but the type they need to keep not let go

Please keep Hutton at all costs - he is a good full back and a valuable member of the squad. If Everton wants him badly, then sell him for no less than 9 million pounds PLEASE!

Daniel Levy would be loathe to sell Hutton off for as little as 5 million quid. However, rumour has it that Harry and Alan don't get on at all, and that he wants rid of him. Personally I think he could still develop into a world class right-back, and if Kyle Naughton's worth 7m, then Hutts has got to be too.
