Everton leading chase for £8.5million Spurs star?
11:00 AM 29 June, 2009
Everton Football Club have emerged favourites to land Tom Huddlestone.

The Toffees, along with two other Premier League clubs, are said to have offers of £8.5million accepted for the Tottenham Hotspur midfield player.

Huddlestone is eager to quit White Hart Lane to gain regular first team football, and reports suggest the 22-year-old favours a move to Goodison Park this summer.

Once again Tottenham fans are being ignorant, i'm sorry but you tottenham fasn have nothing to argue about, football teams are measured by trophies and league positions, and in both aspects everton have trumped tottenham, once everton are taken over by a billionaire, tottenham would have no chance i mean despite have less money, a horrible injury list we still managed to beat tottenham, i'm sorry but tottenham are a pathetic excude for a club, big clubs finish near the top of the table and are in the top half for the whole season not just for a couple weeks, tottenham need to prove they are a big, successful club you fans label them, but for right now they are not, the sooner you face it the better.

oh and as for trying to palm us off with Yobo, fug that. You everton fans wanna talk about how underated our players? you might wanna look at your own squad. The only only decent thing about your squad is your manager. Moyes is a good manager and he has turned your club around but your players are TOFFEE (get it, toffee?) lol

lets get the facts right, do spurs spend shit loads of money every summer and end up near the bottom 3 sacking the manager and then get a new one and ending up mid table. lets face facts flashy southern twats, your not playing european football. you have played in a league cup final. we've played in and fa cup final the biggest domestic prize on the planet, not something you can get tickets for on the back of shreddies or crates of ale which is the case with the league cup. we're a bigger club, why? we're playing in europe next year. as it proves huddlestone would b a decent edition 2 a growing squad of quality players. if we want to change our starting 11 and then loan them out to ipswich town i'm sure moysey will give u a shout. money isn't always the key its about time u dick heads realised that. You clearly did not watch any of the confederations cup did you, muppet? We had the goalkeeper of the tournament (where was Gomez?), and man-of-the-match in both semi finals. Just because Moyes did not waste millions assembling his squad does mean he did not buy and develop quality. You are right about one thing, our players are under rated, by almost everyone, but there is a reason we have finished 5th the last 2 years despite serious injuries to our best 4 players in that time (Cahill, Arteta, Yakubu and Jagielka). Next year, with them all fit, we will break up the "sky 4" and you will once again be chasing our dust.

tom huddlestone not good enough for Everton have a laugh, Everton bigger and better than Spurs have a laugh... what a piss take. Everton aint won nothing since 1995. Our support is way bigger than yours and when our new stadium is complete you'll be wishing you had a club as big as ours. Tom is still young and pass's the ball 10 x better than any of your dole chasing everton mugs. You had a half good season this time around but what else have you done in the past 14 years????? who are ya, who are ya!

What have we done in the past 14 years? What have you done? Last FA cup, 91. Last league win, 61. So, you won a couple of league cups where the big boys play their kids, but look at the league performances and you will see 9 championships to 2. The bigger club, my friend, is the one that plays in royal blue. You can keep fat Tom, he isn't good enough for us.

And what have you done? No big players want to go to Everton because they're not a 'big' club - fact. They see Tottenham interested and take our interest into consideration because of our ambition, players and what we WILL achieve. Everton haven't got anything on us.

Huds is just not good enough for Spurs, he's a 'nearly player' but not up to the standard of our other players. If Everton offered £8.5m for that useless, lazy 'only plays when he feels like it' dunce I'd snap their hand off. HE'S REALLY NOT THAT GOOD GUYS.... Please sell him HARRY SELL SELL SELL

hey! u can keep ur fatty shit with u .we dont need a below average player though he will b a main asset in club like spurs.we have got enuf better players to challenge top 4 ,unlike u dreamers we were actually in top4 and all u can do is blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!!! in ur whole team there is no player good enuf to play for us ,may b keane but now he has got some liverfool viruses on him, so no.

What you telling us for - we're not buying him, clubs don't usually sell their best assets do they. Personally i'd keep him - better passer of the ball than any of Evertons players

Now you really are taking the piss. Arteta, Pienaar, Osman, Baines and even Rodwell pass the ball better than him. Please, keep him, he is not worth that sort of money. The only player I would take from your shower is Lennon, and only then because Moyes could mould his potential and teach him how to come up with an end product. The fact is, you need to sell because your team is just not good enough, despite all the money thrown at it these past few years!

we shouldn't sell tom huddlestone, follow this link as to why. We need his passing to put through Defoe, they've played together a fairbit, Hudd can slip in Modric, Lennon and any of our attacking players as well as drill home any poor clearences or dead play on the edge of the area. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1005101/tottenham_hotspur_v_fulham/

Lazy, unfunny and very very predictable - if you want to make jokes about scousers try coming up with something we haven't heard before - maybe even something YOU haven't heard before. That would be original! P.S. Huddlestone is not a star and he ain't worth £8.5m.

Marc hutch ??? Spurs a bigger club ? what part of the universe do you live on ? you've spend millions over the last few years just trying to equal Everton ! and as far as support , we blew away Manure nited and chelski in 2 games at wembley and our support has been praised by most opposing managers citing Goodison as the most difficult ground for their teams to get a result , managers such as Wenger , SAF and Mourinho and even old corned beef face Harry ... Don't worry though one day you may get to our level , by which time we'll have left you behind in our wake Best wishes :)

WHY WHY in the hell someone will think that fattystone will get first team place at everton, afterall we have got much better players.and if he wants to come then its not his fault bcoz any one will jump to a chance to play for a bigger club and have more chances of top 4 spot and when we say it ,we mean it as we have already cracked top 4 unlike spur fans who think they r good but in reality r not better than likes of fulham or westham.and over that atleast we have got fans who dont boo their own team or bullied by fans from rivals team and can make some good noise and atmosphere in their stadium while spurs fans can only make noise when they play against arsenal.they r so obssesed with arsenal, may b having some part of arsenal inside them.

The sky is BLUE you numpty, and as for you official stats, please, don't make me laugh (unless of course you care to provide evidence). Even in the dark days before Moyes when we were fighting the perennial relegation battle our away support outsang your pathetic fans when we visited what, after the last 3 years, we are becoming to know as 3-point-lane.
