The Toffees have not made an offer for England Under-21 star Joe Lewis according to Posh director of football Barry Fry.

The former Norwich City custodian has been linked with a £2m move to Goodison Park but Fry said: "I've had no conversation with Everton or any other club about Joe, which is a surprise.

"He is certainly good enough to play at that level, but there is no question of us wanting to sell him."
