Eto'o wants £15m pay-off from Barca or Man City move is off?
11:05 AM 30 June, 2009
According to the Daily Mirror, Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o wants around £15m cash from his current club before he'll sign for Manchester City.

The Cameroon international only has one year to go on his current deal, so would definitely command a massive signing-on fee if he leaves the Camp Nou in 2010.

Eto'o's lawyer Josep Maria Mesalles said: "If there is not a 180-degree turnaround then he will stay with Barcelona."

Eto'o has no intention of joining city, he is only trying to get a better contract from Barcelona. Who would want to leave the best team in the world who have just won the treble quite easily to a team who can't guarantee they'll seriously challenge for anything and who are not even in the CL? If he does end up moving he will be motivated by money and not football so will be a very poor signing.

his life is at barcelona if he goes to mancity he will end up like his former teammate ronaldiniho who's now at milan. warming the benches. instead i think mancity should buy helb who failed to make an impression at the camp nou
