Spurs lining up mammoth bid for Serie A star?

Mirko Vucinic, once on Manchester United’s radar, is a target for Harry Redknapp.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been linked with the Montenegro international in the past, but reports suggest Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a bid for the 25-year-old.

It is believed Redknapp is prepared to hand Roma a cheque for around £12million for Vucinic, as well as Russian international striker Roman Pavlyuchenko as part of the deal.

The former Spartak Moscow star has failed to set the Premier League alight since his £14million arrival last summer, and he is said to be a target for the Serie A side.

i agree with you but not completely tottenham are a big club we are in the top 20 richest clubs in the world. we have been in a majory final 2 years running which proves we are on the mend. tottenham will be bigger and better soon but we can't go to far to quick think about city they may well buy 11 first class players but they still wont get top 6 because they will be greedy bitches and don't care about the club as long as they get there 6 figure pay at the end of the week.....

I am sorry,but i have to disagree with spurs fans here ,spurs are decent club in big city but they r miles far away from clubs like manu,arsenal or liverpool.u can be compared to chelsea but with recent history they have also leapfrogged u.but the discussion who is better among everton,villa,spurs or newcastle can b appropriate and sensible.i know fans will always believe their club is big but only a outsider can tell the real worth,in that case spurs r just ordinary and even everton r much better as they in reality were in top u and when was last time spurs werein that position and u have to talk to grandfathers to ask when spurs last won a league.so spurs fans live in reality and dont make fool out of ur club.

Spurs are a great club a huge club with the most enthusiatic and passionate supporters in the league I had the misfortune of bumping into some chelski supporters when i was living in London one saturday while on the Tube in London most of the time was spent standing over a mother with a small kid real tough guys (pack of wankers actually).

obviously somebody has an inferiority complex. He mocks the Cup we won calling it the "Fizzy Pop" cup, where do I start with that? Firstly, its the Carling Cup, not the Coca-Cola Cup, secondly Chelsea could only wish they could have won it instead & were only too happy to have that as their only piece of silverware the year before, so in mocking it you are only mocking yourself. No significant fanbase? 150million worldwide is so insignificant - made up mostly of fans who actually understand & appreciate football as opposed to just jumping on a bandwagon. Finally, our club is run on a profit unlike any member of the top 4 who run HUGE debts. Our recent form was one of the best in the Premiership & we conceded the least goals at Home than anyone else in the league. Spurs fans are actually renowned for being focussed on ourselves & we have one of the loudest, most passionate sets of fans in Europe, let alone England. If you have such a big problem with Spurs fans talking about other clubs, why are you posting under a story about Tottenham and why are you talking about us, shouldn't you be concentrating on that little club from Fulham that you support?
