Birmingham City – the good, the bad and the downright unacceptable

Fans FC is asking Birmingham City fans to reveal their good, their bad and their downright unacceptable about their club.

The good can be that fully-committed midfield workhorse who you just know would reject the mega-riches of Real Madrid to stay at your club.

The bad could be that ageing fullback who hasn’t had a decent game for your club for the past five seasons, but just so happens to be a manager’s favourite.

And the downright unacceptable can be anything from another mammoth hike in your season ticket price to that awful yellow and pink third away strip.

for birmingham i reckon the worst thing is having marcus bent on the team sheet. good thing is that we are actually spending money for a change, (well done board) the unacceptable is when i went and watch brum against plymouth, wot a s**t ref, sending o tatlor, r u mad. and not bookin a player who broke ridgewells leg. GOOD A good board and management who stick with managers. A manager who is buying wisely supported by the board. Some Premiership players who want to stay. Players not committed to the club but only themselves. Ground improvements. Efforts by club to build a Birmingham Stadium. BAD No trillionaire on the board. Birmingham City Council for stunting efforts to build a Birmingham Stadium. Fans who moan all the time and who get aggresive at times (like end of season when we were relegated). Fans who stand at away games preventing old men like me from sitting down to see game. Fans singing S--T ON THE VILLA when we are not even playing them Fans language with young fans attending games.

Marcus bent is by far the worst player down the blues i haev ever seen he is awful but we ahev made some decent signings so i think we should stay up this season and maybe patrick viera down the blues next season exciting stuff!!

GOOD: Some exciting and imaginitive signings which have enthused the supporters and built confidence in the fans that this time we have long term intentions. BAD: Fans harping on about the fact that our signingd are not proven in the Premier, we have signed Coventry and Cardiff's players of the year!!, also if Man U and Chelsea insisted on Premier experience, they wouldnt have the teams they have today!!. Unacceptable: The appalling bad language one hears on match days in front of women and children and the persistance of the cannabis smokers despite the smoking ban and the presence of the chocolate teapot brigade, better known as stewards!

We have made some excellent signings and the Premiership defenders would have been of the same standard as the Championship center backs in terms of price range so that would have been irrelevant. The unfortunate thing about BCFC is that you have to put up with stupid idiotic fans that post on websites like these when they don't even go to a game. But the downright awful is this website if they were true fans they'd say there was no problem.

Good The club is still here thanks to this board and they seem to have taken on past history and are buying the type of players who will play for themselves and the club. Bad This bloody humid weather Unacceptable The constant mirrored moans of fans who can't remember how bad it used to be through the 80s and 90s and most just say the same boring things they have read from other idiots

Good - The boards backing of a manager who hasn't even been given a fair chance yet, signings. Bad - Some of these fans always moaning (Mcleish said he'd enquired about 8 premiership centrebacks which we couldn't afford) a club like us has to take risks on players like benitez and johnson. Unacceptable - MARCUS BENT STILL AT THE CLUB, GIVE HIM AWAY! AND GET RID OF LARSSON FOR A DECENT FEE WHILE WE CAN CUZ HE CLEARLY DOESNT WANNA BE AT THE CLUB.

Good- being the fan of a club that we can't be called glory hunters for supporting. Bad- Having not had any glory Ugly- sad web sites trying to get fans to dish the dirt on their own clubs!!! oh and the guy who wrote the first comment.

The Good: The ambition shown, improving the pitch, some of the signings are needed! Finally got some central defenders. The Bad: The players we are signing arent proven Prem quality. The Unacceptable: Being made to move out of the Railway Lower due to our greedy board, hoping to make a skinful out of the away fans. Had to pay an extra 40 quid more, not impressed! Oh and there not being a manager available when renewing season tickets!

Good - a back line that the midfield and forwards can trust Bad - apart from the moaning before the team is put together we need an another intelligent midfielder and a left winger who can pass a ball to the forwards feet Ugly - nothing is ugly we've been promoted , look like were in it to stay and enough players to get a decent cup run without panicking about potential injuries

The Good: The ambition the club has shown in the early stages of the transfer market; and trying to sign Viera. The Bad: Still havent made any money on selling player and letting our good youngsters leave on a free. The Good : Being Linked With Everyone , New Signings. The Bad : The board, Not Spending Enough Money, Buying Players that arent proven EG Spending 8 mill on Defence. Why not pay 5 mill on someone proven in The Prem. And The Damn Right Unacceptable : Board Are only in it for themselves only care about the profit they will make don;t give a monkey what Birmingham City Do on the pitch !

Good: New signings We are signing up and coming players who may not be good enough but may be excellent. we used to sign players on a downward curve with one or two seasons left in them. Then we keep yoyoing to the championship. these new signings ie Dann and Johnson and Benitez could be quality and have a long expectancy as they are young. Its a good change of policy. B Bad: Old players need to be sold to free up funds as they are past it. Bent and a few others are never gonna cut it in the prem. Unacceptable: Holts comments on the board. Wake up man. we are not getting big attendances so where do you think the money is coming from. Unless Sullivan discovers oil beneath his Essex pad and becomes a sheik or The Gold brothers win the Euro millions on a treble roll over and decide to throw the pot in, they cant be expected to plow ridiculous amounts of there own cash in when there is no return. We are lucky that we are in the black. Stupid spending without the funds to back it up could result in us being the next Southampton. The board are investing there own money at there risk. Think before you open your mouth. Fair play to the board for backing big Eck as much as they have already and more signings to follow...

The good: Apart from the board for backing Big Eck, the signing of Roger Johnson should shore up the defence The bad: Letting young Polish goalkeeper Artur Kryisak leave on a free, he had bags of potential and I think that'll come back to haunt us. The unacceptable: Marcus Bent is still on the pay roll

Good: Sighning Benitez, Signing 6 players, being linked with players like pat viera, board investing loads of dosh, playing manu first(get them out of the way and maybe they will put it on tv) Bad: Not coming first (but thats alright now) wolves going for players were going for, seb larsson ent sighned contract yet, still havnt sold bent Unacceptable: Blues going back to black for away shirt, hate it man, attracts the sun also, so when im ova da park playin football i will be sweating,alex mcleish saying espinoza is bad (if true), aston villa thinking there going to beat us :)
