The "good" was the true form of the team exhibited from October 2008 onwards - that the desire to achieve remains in players that have been on the margins of success for 3 or 4 seasons. Modric, Palacios and eventually Gomes and Corluka look like great players. The "bad" COMOLLI and the senior management's inability to identify his disruptive influence in team affairs. Juande Ramos and Gus Poyet were not a bad coaching team, but they understood before Levy that Comolli's intentions were more in tune with Arsenal than Tottenham - just look at the vast array of rubbish he purchased at greatly inflated prices, Boateng and Kaboul for example. There should be a huge notice in the Boardroom that says "IF IT HAS ANY ARSENAL taint then leave well alone, e.g. Neill, Graham, Comolli." Wasted 8 games where we got nothing but a seriously bad reputation. From game 3-4 i couldn't wait til the end of the season. Luckily Rednapp came in and kick started us again. The BAD - Letting Gomes remain our number one. I was hoping that the kid Alnwick would get a proper chance at goal but no luck. And the UNACCEPTABLE would be letting go of players like Bent, Bentley and big Pav! We need these players to stick it out and start performing again. Bentley for an example when given a chance played reasonably well (goal against Arsenal for example)

why r we spud so dumbheads,cant we try to understand we r just a midtable club and if not then why we were 8th and 11th in recent seasons ,with current squad and no additions i am worried that we might do a newcastle this season.
