German youngster to replace Carvalho at Chelsea?

Chelsea Football Club are said to be interested in Jerome Boateng.

It is being reported that the Blues sporting director Frank Arnesen has been hugely impressed by the young German during the Under-21 European Championships.

Boateng, 20, is under contract at Hamburg until the summer of 2012, but the Stamford Bridge club are supposedly looking at him as a possible replacement for Ricardo Carvalho.

The Portuguese international endured an injury-plagued 2008/09 campaign, and he is being heavily linked with a move to Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan.

if it is true that chelsea are hunting for boateng. then i think the management must go medical check up. because we have guys that is better than him.

i wonder where all this rumours is coming from,and if it's true please can you ask frank arnneson what possition did ivanovich and macienne hold in our squad?

well al these rumours r in the papers and i have been follwing them for about 2 months now... welll about ivanovica and mancienne as i hav mentioned about manciennce cud be possible that ivanovic will stay at chelsea and be the 2nd choice center back after Alex and JT showed there classs last year and ivanovic can also be a replacement for JB.. Jose Bosingwa if hee gets injured but its just all rumours cant say much about the flying rumours but thats wat i read alll over about players .... and yaa the new Signing for Carlo at the club is ROSS TURNBULL the goal keeper... and as expected to see Yuri Zhirkov nest on mondday with Danial Sturridge...

yaaa rite Ola nice question but i guesss mancienne is capable off playing at right back and even at the position where mikal place soo might be possible that he wud get a chance wen mikal and essian might be missing or it cud also be possible that he might loaned out to reading as the rumours r flyings all over
