Niall Quinn has told Steve Bruce what he expects from Sunderland next season.
Fortunately for the new Black Cats manager, all his chairman wants is for the Stadium of Light club to cement their place in the top-tier of English football.
“Are we going to get full houses every week? Do we need to kick on? That has to be the aim and it’s a reasonable aim. It’s not a stupid aim,” said Quinn.
“There’s no point talking about finishing in the top-four at the moment. It’s nonsense. Our next achievable aim is to become a comfortable Premier League club.”
