Andre-- How can you say we haven't got closer, We missed out on a champions league spot recently by two points and you were lucky then, Three seasons ago i wouldn't have suggested we could beat or even draw with you but i can now, and chamions league only means something if you win it like any cup, and you haven't been good enough. Sure i know we haven't but apart from the balls up at the begining of this season i think we've proved we can compete even with a squad of newish players who don't even know the prem. We haven't got any cup matches coz of our shit start, we had to concentrate on getting out of it which we did by playing good football. So all we have to do is concentrate on the league this season and improving our position. If we play as well this season as we did at the end of the last we stand a good chance of challenging for a top spot. OH & by the way true gunner i'm writing this on the spurs link.....

i dont tink u have been gettin closer, getting closer can onli mean you have earned a champs league spot. doesnt matter how close villa or everton come, we were close to winning the title and lost by 4 points, now look at the table. unless you achieve what you aimed for nothing anyone says matters at all.

Andre, I'm afraid i'd have to agree that we've underachieved But even you have got to admit the last three seasons we've been getting closer and closer to you and even thrashed in recent memory and you haven't been able to beat us last three or four games so come on mate i think you know if we click the right combination of players and manager we will finish close if not above you soon & lets not take Villa, Everton, city, & fulham out of the mix.
