Villa to make offer for ex Brum bad boy?

Sources suggest that former Birmingham City winger Jermaine Pennant could be moving to the Blues' hated rivals Aston Villa.

The controversial 26-year-old is currently without a club, after seeing his contract with Liverpool expire.

The Reds paid Birmingham £6.7m, rising to £8m, for Pennant in 2006.

Pennant's agent Sky Andrew describes it as "50/50" as to whether his client will remain in England or move to a Spanish club.
