Hearts target free to move clubs
05:52 PM 01 July, 2009
Paul Hartley has not received a new contract offer from Celtic and will now start looking for a new club.

Although the 32-year-old has been taking steps to secure his future, taking time to visit Greek club Iraklis recently, he had been hoping to stay with Celtic and play a part under new boss Tony Mowbray.

Mowbray though is keen to re-shape the squad he inherited and to that end is not keeping either Hartley or Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, both of whose contracts have expired.

Ipswich, Sheffield United and Hearts are all keen on the versatile player.
