Davis relishing Bolton Wanderers chance
11:48 AM 02 July, 2009
Sean Davis is delighted with his move to Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

The midfielder has penned a three-year deal with the Trotters following the expiry of his contract at Portsmouth, who rejected a £3.5million for him from the Lancastrians in January.

"I am happy my future has been sorted out," said Davis. "I wanted to move to a club where I can play my football and be appreciated. Bolton showed genuine interest in January.

“That was hugely encouraging. It is an exciting opportunity not just for me but my family as well. I want to enjoy my football and take the club forward."

Sean Davis is a great signing as I have already said in previous posts. I do have one question...did we have any scouts at either the Confed Cup or U21 Euros? There is a few players who did well in each tournament. The Americans Bradley & Demerit and Sweden's Berg, Bengtsson & Brjarmir would all be worth a shout. Robinson is not the quality signing Negson promised us at the end of the season. Bodde needs to be sorted one way or another. Looks like we will be missing out on another decent striker Simon Cox I would sign him to replace Vaz te any day. We are weak in all departments and definately lack numbers up front.... Signings please Mr. Megson and soon............
