Tottenham Hotspur face fight to lure £13million Real Madrid ace

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club face a fight to land Wesley Sneijder this summer.

Harry Redknapp is believed to be willing to pay £13million for the Dutch international, and Real Madrid are prepared to let the player leave although they may demand a bigger fee.

However, according to AS, Sneijder, 25-years-old, is unwilling to quit the Bernabeu and he will dig his heels in to cement a place in the Spanish side’s starting eleven next season.

Im an Aberdonian (meaning that i hail from Aberdeen) Spurs fan. And realistically we don't stand a cat in the hats chance of buying Wesley Sneijder. We should stick with what we have for once and stop changing our squad every single bloody season. Im getting tired of it.

spurs r really non-ambitious club bcoz they r so proud of their 8th and 11th places finishes in recent seasons everyone saying we have made great progress,these clowms celebrate a win against our understrength side in a match which we didnt gave importance like a world cup win and also lucky draw in league full of deflections as another world cup.on other hand a season ago arsenal just missed chance to win the league and this season we were comfortably 4th and step away from finals of fa cup and champions league and everyone is saying this was the worst and unacceptable season for a club like arsenal.this tells u standards and expectations differences at both clubs,spurs r not bigger than likes of portsmouth or sunderland so happy with midtable where they really belong.

I can handle a Spurs slating but to call us "non-ambitious" (you probably mean unambitious, div) is a bit harsh. With the money we have spent/made without a super rich owner or money generated from success, I'd say we are one of the more ambitious clubs in the prem.
