Clint Dempsey insists he is happy at Fulham Football Club.

The midfielder’s performances for the United States in the Confederations Cup have earned him admirers from clubs in Spain, but he insists his future is at Craven Cottage.

"I think I have two more years left at Fulham and I'm happy and enjoying my time there," Dempsey told the Sunday Mirror. "You never know in football, it's so crazy.

“But I feel like I'm developing as a player and don't need to move. That's the most important thing. Fulham have done a great job helping me develop as a player.

"I'm a more complete player now than when I first arrived in England I owe a lot to them. It was a successful season for us and we're in the Europa League now.”
