Could Gallas be tempted by Aston Villa?
11:00 AM 03 July, 2009
Aston Villa Football Club are believed to be interested in William Gallas.

Reports are growing that Arsene Wenger is ready to cash in on his former Arsenal skipper, as he looks to rebuild his Gunners back four ahead of the 2009/10 season.

Martin O'Neill is desperately looking for an established central defender following the retirement of Martin Laursen, and he would love to take Gallas to Villa Park.

However, the France international, who turns 32-years-old at the start of the new season, is believed to favour a return to his homeland should he leave the Emirates Stadium.

im suprised Bodymoor Badger didnt mention more than one spurs player cz thats what all the people that are making up thes bull sh*t blogs are sayin in fact they mite aswell mention the whole of the spurs team, bt the only players from spurs that i think mite be coming r bentley and huddlestone and although i would love gallas i dont think he would come from arsenal to villa unless hes fallen out with the whole team bt this article is definatley a blatont lie and i wish people would stop making things like this up cz it brings my hopes up and sometimes down like bramble for example

God I hope not. My 12 week old baby cries, moans, bitches and spits her dummy out less than that muppet. Can't imagine him in a villa shirt! Plus, we only sign passed it premier league players (heskey).

Well said Kiwi.... this is total and utter rubbish. My information is that there are deals in the pipeline and the following players will be unveiled shortly : Tim Borowski David Bentley Kyle Naughton and a surprise return of Gary Cahill * Cahill wouldn't have comeback had Gareth Barry still been at the club as they destest each other.

I am going to be pilloried for saying this but I never liked that man in our jersey. There is something malodorantly Chelski about him. I know he has been our best defender but I just dont like him even if he scored against them when we met at Emirates a year ago. He is a very bad influence in the dressing room where he barely speak to anyone except Clichy. He is also very reader of the game who relies on his speed and power. With age starting to show its effects, I would sell him to the first buyer. That he is wanted by Villa is not a testament of his class but desperation of the mentioned club. I mean they even want Sol Campbell ffs who was hurled from pillar to post by Vela in a away match against Pompey at the end of this season. Lets look forward and sign younger and stronger/Athletic defenders.

Could you stop making up bullsh1t rumours? Seriously, what do you do? Have a barrel full of footballers names and just pull one out and go "Hey, lets make up a rumour linking him to Villa"?
