Primus agrees one-year Portsmouth deal
03:04 PM 03 July, 2009
Linvoy Primus has agreed a new one-year contract at Portsmouth Football Club.

This new deal will see the defender into his testimonial year at Fratton Park, and he will also take on an ambassadorial role at a club he feels he owes to much to.

"I'm going to be working with the younger players on and off the pitch," Primus told the club's official website. "I'm not going to be coaching them, I'm going to be more of an advisor.

"I'm definitely going to finish my career here and then stay with the club when that finishes. In the two years that I haven't played for the first team, the club have stood by me.

“They have looked after me. They made sure my knee is fine and have given me an opportunity to play and also given me the chance to move into a new role."
