Jonathan Greening is staying put at the Hawthorns according to chairman Jeremy Peace.
Relegation from the Premier League has seen rumours of a move for the long-serving former Middlesbrough man but Peace, quoted in the Birmingham Mail says Greening is a key part of Roberto Di Matteo's plans.
"He's a top class lad and he likes the new gaffer already," said Peace.
"He did well in the Championship for us and it would be stupid to sell him now."
