Tevez ready to seal Manchester City switch?
01:00 PM 05 July, 2009
It appears as though Carlos Tevez is ready to seal his move to Manchester City Football Club.

The Argentine is available following the end of his two-year loan deal at Manchester United, and the Blues are hot favourites to secure his £25million signature.

“If I play for Manchester City, I don't think the United fans will feel I am a traitor,” Tevez told The People. “It has come about because I could not stand my sporting situation at Manchester United any longer.

“My first year was good in all senses. I played in the games and felt respected by the coach but in my second year some strange things happened that I still do not understand.

“After the game at Old Trafford, where Liverpool beat us [4-1, in March], Ferguson ignored me, almost as if I was to blame for the defeat when really Liverpool dominated us all over the pitch.

“After that, the fans called for me to be in the team but he never took the advice on board because he always knows best.

“I gave everything for Manchester United and people know that. For that reason, I don't deserve the way things have ended up.”

I am Kolo and Yaya's mother. He told me last nite while i wz speaking to him on the phone,(yes i have a phone in the Ivory coast) that he wz considering retiring from football and becoming basket weaver. he said football doesnt fill him with the joy that weaving a pretty basket from water rushs does.i told him 2 follow his dreams. Kolo gave him the same advice as his father, baskets weaving is for hippies and gays.

man united are scared shitless and have no idea what they are doing, valencia isnt worth 18 million and owen well, he was good in his time which we all know was 5-6 years ago. Man city arent trying to sign every single world class player, we are tryin to build a team up and our amibition is great. Tevez isnt coming to city for money, he is coming for family reasons and because of our ambition so unite watch out cas i can see man city doing the double in the derby next season, and as for where we finish im just happy if we finish in the top 6.

Guys, guys, go easy on the trash talk. Think back to a few weeks ago. 60,000 Man U fans chanting 'Sign Him up" during their last 5 games. This is a major blow to Man U, and the frustration of losing Ronaldo, along with losing out on Benzema, has them clutching at straws with the Owen and Valencia deals. Back this up with the very average Berbatov, along with the oul guys Giggs and Scholes, and the United firepower heading into 2009/10 season looks like being around the 7th best in the League. City's owners came in with their 10 year plan. The first step on this plan was to improve the squad and challenge for Champions League qualification. I believe with the Tevez, Santa-Cruz and Barry introductions, that we already have a better squad, with 3 more defenders pending to add to this growing band. I also believe you will see a more lethal Robinho this season, and honestly believe we will see De Jonge come to life in a major way! Its all exciting stuff, but I also know that 'Rome wasnt built in a day'. Id honestly settle for fourth place and a Cup final slot this season as our first step, along with of course a huge improvement on that dreadful Away form. The sky is the limit for this club now, and by all means let United fans chuck the insults and quote their Soccer History to their heart's content. They KNOW their owners are sinking them. They KNOW the end of their domination is imminent. They know a new genuine rival has emerged. So for all you City fans out there who have been through many, many barren years with nothing to cheer other than a lowly Play Off or 'Goat-inspired' Derby victory... I say, 'Enjoy these next few years guys, and watch proudly as your club grow to become a force in British, then eventually European Football'. Watch our 'haters list' grow like it did with Chelski, and watch the envy of financial muscle seep out of those who sign the sort of player we would have signed 18 mths ago... CITY 365

TEVEZ WILL ONLY GET MAXIMUM 10 GOALS A SEASON FOR SMALL CLUBS LIKE CITY. WOT YOU THINK YOUR GOOD COZ U GOT SANTA CRUZ BARRY N TEVEZ, U GOT A LONG WAY TO GO CITY SCUM, YOU CANT EVEN GET TOP PLAYERS IF YOU OFFER THEM RECORD CONTRACT OFFERS (ETO) LOL CITY ARE A JOKE WHO DONT DESERVE ANY OF THAT MONEY JUST LIKE CHELSEA YOU ARE GOIN TO BUY YOUR WAY TO THE TOP BUT US PROPER TEAMS EARNED OUR WAY TO THE TOP SEE THE DIFFERENCE? CITY R SCUM ALLWAYS WILL BE. UNITED ARE THE ONLY TEAM IN MANCHESTER U HALFWIT CUNTS

Someone has already picked you up on your spelling ability so I will not humiliate you anymore. As for City buying our way to the top. You must have forgotten the £30m spent on Ferdinand; £29m on Veron; £20m on Rooney; £20m on Van Nistelrooy; £18m on Hargreaves (that was money well spent wasn't it!?; £18m on Valencia - shall I go on? As for your statement "united are the only team in Manchester". I suggest you go down to Trafford Town Hall and get the borough boundary plan out and you'll see your ground is in Trafford and not Manchester! Oh and turn your caps lock off you idiot. That is if you know how too.
