Tottenham Hotspur ready to accept €8.5million for midfielder?

Reports suggest Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are ready to sell Didier Zokora.

Spanish side Sevilla are eager to land the Ivory Coast international this summer, but their €7million bid falls someway short of the asking price of €10million.

However, reports in Spain now claim the two clubs are set to reach a compromise figure of €8.5million, and the La Liga side are confident of tying up a deal.

"I have confidence in finding a solution to this subject in a few days because the situation has changed after the first meeting," said president Jose Maria Del Nido.

Robie Keane is the most overrated footballer in britan if not the world.He runs behind players hoping 4 mistakes and sometimes scores if they do,Berba made him, thats why he done nothing without him and we will do nothing ife keep him.If he is so good in the dresing room then let him stay here and pay him 4 not playing.

Settle on Robbie. He is one of the best footballers in today's game. Robbie has just been unsettled with everything that occured last year, - the move to Liverpool with minimum game time, Then the move back to Tottenham with no straight settled striker upfront with him - Robbie will be scoring goals, being our team leader like he does best at the start of this season, te before-season period should give him the time to settle in again =)

What saddens me reading this page is not fact zokora going cos i aint he served his time well enough. But the fact so called fans slag off Robbie Keane is any coincedence that after Harry arrival the honeymoon period dropped off and we was starting to struggle again Until Keane re joined. Its what Keane does in the dressing room as much as he does on the pitch that makes him a class player. Yeah he didnt score as many as previous seasons but he had berbs up front with him not darren bent. Put a decent striker up front with him and you will all change your tune again. SAD that we always get on our players backs. I still say if PAV stays he will come good.

average player at best - after his disgraceful dive for a pen a few years back against Pompey I wanted him out - he tried but let's face it a pro should be able to shoot and pass - anyone can run around and wave their finger at the referee when they get pulled up for another late tackle - Sevilla must be nuts

If a player wouldnt or couldnt get on 4 a top 4 team then we should have nothing 2 do with them.Robie Keane was a major mistake,we need class Berg would b a great buy 4 the future.We have the making of an unbelievable side, just a few good buys thats all we need. ps forget Figo or i wil get my boots out off the cupboard and audition.

i remember 2 points from 8 games & zokora was r worst player how can anyone call him a class act useless in every dept especially protecting the back 4 woefull embarassing & cringing 2 watch he tried but fell well short jenas & keane 2 go next most overrated players ever just ask benitez much prefer defoe & modric

zakora was a good worker but had 2 left feet we should use the cash to buy tuncay laters zakora. dont buy downing please he got 1 measily goal all season he aint what we need, i bet arsenal wouldnt touch him with a shit stick so why would we want him?

mmm ok .yes zokora was a good player for us but i think we need more class and a player that can give more to the team not just the occasional splurt forward.. We need class he is better suited to a slower game not prem..

wwwwooooowwwww some people like to argue dont u leave that for home man at the end of the day zokora was a class act defending wise but not that good attacking wise etc however wilson is the man to take zokoras place and proved that last season just hope we can get a player of melo or bastos class in midfield to attack the goal would like us to get in maxi rodrigues he looks a class act so come harry start doing something in the market and not doing a usual spurs and leaving everything to the last minute make me an even prouder man harry get some class in plz COYS !!!!!!!!!!!

good player for us never complained when left out but there are better players out there 4 us so lets sell and start buying harry. we all no what we need LEFT SIDED players who are young and eager ie young.i also think we should give bale more playing time he is a good player needs a arm around his shoulder also need a center half as ledly cant play every week.come on u spurs cant wait till it all starts all over again.

Not as technically gifted as some of the other n probably stopped ohara or huddlestone getting real time out on the pitch which was gutting... but was a work horse n didn t give up for us and put in some good performances in the big cup games soo cheers for the years didier but 8.5 mill is too much to turn down for you.. good luck! dont let this be the start of a massive clear out at the lane as we only need maybe 2 or 3
