Bolton Wanderers Football Club face a fight to sign Paul Robinson.

Gary Megson, who knows the player well from his time in charge of West Bromwich Albion, wants to raid his former club to take the fullback this summer.

However, new Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo wants to keep hold of his better players in a bid to earn an instant return to the Premier League, and this includes Robinson.

"There was an offer for him, but we are not in a position where we have to sell so we are going to keep hold of all our players,” said the Italian coach.
