Baggies dismiss Fulham’s Greening bid
Fulham Football Club have failed with a ‘derisory’ offer for Jonathan Greening.
Roy Hodgson is keen to add the former Manchester United midfielder to his squad this summer, as he looks to add to his squad ahead of their Europa League campaign.
It is believed the Cottagers boss has offered £2million plus the choice of one of three players for Greening, which has been dismissed out of hand by West Bromwich Albion.
“This is the only offer we've received from Fulham,” Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace told the Birmingham Mail. "Jonathan is our captain and a vital member of the squad.
“Therefore we didn't give Fulham's offer a second thought. It is derisory for a player of Jonathan's talent and experience. We are under no financial pressure to sell anyone."
