Robinson claims permanent Bolton Wanderers deal
Paul Robinson claims to have agreed a permanent deal with Bolton Wanderers.
It was reported earlier this week that the fullback has moved to the Whites on a loan deal from West Bromwich Albion, with the view to a permanent switch.
However, Robinson now claims to have already penned a three-year deal with the Premier League side, and he is keen to set the record straight.
"I have signed a three-year contract, simple as that," he told the Bolton News. "The 12-month loan deal was simply helping West Brom out for tax reasons.
"It was a bit difficult for my family to read that I was only on loan, so I wanted to clear up any doubt - I consider myself a Bolton Wanderers player on a three-year deal."
