Zamora set for Hull City talks
06:39 PM 19 July, 2009
Phil Brown hopes to sell Hull City Football Club to Bobby Zamora this week.

Fulham have accepted an offer of £5million from the Tigers for striker Zamora, who scored just two Premier League goals for the Londoners last season.

Brian Horton, the assistant manager at the KC Stadium, has revealed he thinks Roy Hodgson may perform a u-turn and keep the player, but Brown doesn’t share his opinion.

"We have tabled a bid and it has been accepted,” he told Sky Sports. "Obviously people will question that Bobby is not prolific. But I think he is a very, very good holding player.

"I spoke to him at the weekend. Hopefully I will get together with him on Monday or Tuesday and show him around the place and hopefully he likes what he sees."
