Man City offer Onuoha for Lescott?
09:30 AM 20 July, 2009
The Daily Mail are claiming today that Manchester City are about to offer Everton £15m plus Nedum Onouha for Joleon Lescott.

City recently had a £15m bid for Lescott rejected and judging by the way Everton fans were singing the player's name during a recent friendly it would not be a popular decision to part with the England international.

Meanwhile, if the story is true it may unsettle Onouha, who may ask for a move even if City's latest Lescott bid is unsuccessful.

I actually think that if th eoffer of say 20 mil and onuoha came along then we should take, especially if lescott wants to leave, but surely he doesnt want to leave, but onuoha is a good defender, he reminds of lescott when he was younger, with moyes' guidance he could be an english international. Imagine if lescott went to man city and onuoha at everton, then onuoha knocks lescott out of his english position, that would make man city look like the dickheads they already are.

Singing his name? LMAO, They were singing Tevez's name or weeks before the end of the season, lok where h went. As for Onuoha, he is one of, if not the best up and coming defenders in the premier league. You only have to look it his age, the fact that hes one of the fastest in the prem and has and is showing the ability to become a true great. He is only 22 and there is no way he is going anywhere. We will end up with Lescott for £18'000'000 plus Tal Ben-Haim or just £18 mill straight.

we turned down 15 million, why would we accept that now with just a third rate defender who must only be worth 2 million
