Harewood would welcome Hull City move
09:20 PM 22 July, 2009
Marlon Harewood would welcome a move to Hull City Football Club this summer.

The Tigers have missed out on a host of strikers since the end of last season, although they remain hopeful of signing Bobby Zamora from Fulham.

Harewood is out of favour at Aston Villa, and his agent, Phil Sproson, has revealed the 29-year-old would be interested in reigniting his career at the KC Stadium.

"Marlon would certainly jump at the chance to join Hull City and the club knows that," he told the Hull Daily Mail. "Hull City know where we are and know Marlon's situation.

"I have spoken to Phil Brown recently and he said the situation was that Hull City were looking at a couple of players and were assessing their options.

"Marlon and Bobby Zamora played together at West Ham United, they know each other very well and are friends, so he would love to play alongside him again."
