Fulham's £4m bid for Greening rejected by WBA
West Brom have rejected Fulham's latest bid for Jonathan Greening.
The Cottagers offered the Baggies £4m, which sounds rather a lot for a 30-year-old with little resale value.
Nevertheless, WBA chairman Jeremy Peace is holding out for more. He called Fulham's initial bid of £2m plus a player "derisory" and turned down a second offer of £3.25m.
It may be that Fulham will return with a fourth and final offer if striker Bobby Zamora leaves to join Hull City for £5m.
