Andriy Shevchenko hopes to play his part in Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea plans.
The Ukrainian international joined the Blues in the summer of 2006 for a staggering £30million, yet he failed to impress during his first two seasons.
Last term he was shipped off back to Milan on loan, where he played under Ancelotti, but he is now back at Stamford Bridge and eager to finally impress.
"I have one year left on my contract at Chelsea and I hope to stay and to help win some titles," Shevchenko, 32, told Sky Sports News.
