Hull City unlikely to turn to Martins
Hull City Football Club are unlikely to target a move for Obafemi Martins.
The Tigers have missed out on a number of striker targets this summer, including Michael Owen and Fraizer Campbell, both of whom have decided to move elsewhere.
Even when they have been successful with bids, for example with Bobby Zamora, they still miss out, as in this case the player looks set to decide on staying with Fulham.
It is believed Martins, who is set to leave Newcastle United following their relegation from the Premier League, is a name which has been discussed at the KC Stadium.
However, the People claim the Magpies want as much as £10million for the Nigerian international striker, which is almost certain to end Hull’s interest in his signature.
