Hull City Football Club have been linked with a move for Pascal Chimbonda.

The French defender left Tottenham Hotspur for Sunderland this time last year, but after six months in the North East, he made a shock return to the Londoners in the winter transfer window.

Harry Redknapp is willing to offload Chimbonda before the start of the season, due to the return to fitness and form of Alan Hutton and the signing of Kyle Naughton from Sheffield United.

The People claim Phil Brown wants to take the 30-year-old, who has also played for Wigan Athletic, to the KC Stadium, and hopes to take him on loan for the 2009/10 campaign.
