Phil Brown remains hopeful Bobby Zamora will join Hull City Football Club.

The Tigers have had an offer of £5million accepted by Fulham for the player, but the Londoners believed the 28-year-old will reject a move to the KC Stadium.

Despite this, Brown, who has missed out on a number of striker targets this summer, remains hopeful that Zamora will turn his back on the capital and head to Hull.

"As far as we're concerned, the case is certainly not closed," he told the Hull Daily Mail. "It's not dead at all, I haven't been told by anyone that the answer is no. For me, it's still very much alive."
