Titus Bramble plans to stay at Wigan Athletic Football Club for the rest of his career.

Since leaving Newcastle United for the Lancashire club the 27-year-old has transformed his image, from a liability to one of the more reliable defenders around.

This has led to speculation linking him with a move to Sunderland, now coached by former Latics boss Steve Bruce, but he aims to remain at the DW Stadium for some time.

"I want to spend the rest of my career here,” said Bramble, who signed a new deal earlier this month. "I wanted to get the contract sorted out at the end of last season so I could have gone away and forgotten about it but I was only back a week and everything was completed so I am happy."
