Wilson Palacios has hailed the atmosphere at White Hart Lane as amazing.

The Honduran international was a £13million signing for Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham Hotspur in January, when the Londoners signed him from Wigan Athletic.

Palacios wasted little time in becoming a key member of the midfield for his new club, and he has revealed his delight at making the move from Lancashire to the capital.

"It was a dream move for me coming here,” he told Hotspur magazine. “Wigan have fantastic fans even though they're a smaller club, but you can tell that Spurs is bigger.

"When you walk out at White Hart Lane the atmosphere is amazing. The crowd is so close to the pitch and it's always full. We're all positive and we'll aim to get as high up the table as possible."
