Carvalho won over by Ancelotti at Chelsea
Ricardo Carvalho is looking forward to the new season with Chelsea Football Club.
After a disappointing 2008/09 campaign which was hindered by injury, the Portugal international admitted earlier this summer that he was keen on a Stamford Bridge exit.
Former Blues boss Jose Mourinho wanted him at Inter Milan, but it appears as though new coach Carlo Ancelotti has convinced the 31-year-old his immediate future lies in London.
"Last year was the worst I have had,” Carvalho, who has also worked with Mourinho at Porto, is quoted in the Sun. "But how could I forget that I had four great years here before?
"Last year I was unlucky — I got a problem and never recovered completely. It was a frustrating year for me but now I look forward because I am fit and I am ready."
