Eduardo ready to fill Adebayor void at Arsenal
03:00 PM 30 July, 2009
Eduardo is ready to fill the void left by Emmanuel Adebayor’s departure from Arsenal Football Club.

Adebayor left the Emirates Stadium for Manchester City last weekend, and so far Arsene Wenger has made no moves to replace the Togo international ace.

However, there appears to be a genuine belief in the Gunners camp that Eduardo, who has been blighted with injury since moving to England, is about to come good.

"He looks fit and mobile and what is very important is that he looks very confident too," Wenger told arsenal.com. "He doesn't look scared coming back from injury so for me it is very positive.”

The 26-year-old has only played 17 Premier League games since his £7.5million move from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2007, but could this finally be his year?

just one question for Manager Wenger. Is it now a wenger business or the shear holder mony... Why are you letting our feeling for football(Arsenal)fed away, rether than bying player that would make a stronger team, than the team make them strong when we most have losted glories and cup. Pls manager bye good quality players ,how do you want us to be when we will go without cup this session again Am tired distured by family members, because am the only Arsenal fan in my home...laugh!!!!!

Arsenal's defence is still lacking ! Plse Wenger do all it takes to secure one good defender & a striker. Arsenal is prone to injuries more than any other team in England ! Contingency measures needed at the moment otherwise the past glory is fading away. What's going wrong in the management boardroom of the club? Greed, carelesness, intrigue, selfishness, low morale............? Africa will miss the Arsenal it used to be.
