Zamalek deny Portsmouth offer for Zaki
08:10 PM 29 July, 2009
Zamalek deny receiving an offer from Portsmouth Football Club for Amr Zaki.

It has been widely reported that Pompey are keen to take the 26-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, to Fratton Park during the summer window.

Yet despite reports the Premier League side are closing in on Zaki, his employers insist they have not received any contract for the Egyptian international hitman.

"No offers were made for Amr Zaki. Not from Portsmouth, and not from any other side," Zamalek board member, Sabri Serag, has told FilGoal.com.
