Danny Murphy aims to see out the rest of his playing days at Fulham Football Club.

The 32-year-old midfielder is close to agreeing a new deal which will keep him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2011, and he couldn’t be happier.

"I get on great with the manager. The team is moving forward,” Murphy told the Evening Standard.

"The club is moving forward. We're looking towards another productive season. I'm the captain. What more do I want? I'm just completely content."
