Hull City Football Club admit they may find it difficult to reject a sizeable bid for Michael Turner.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a fine debut Premier League campaign last term, with his performances said to have him close to making Fabio Capello’s England plans.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be admirers of Turner, but Phil Brown, the Tigers manager, hopes neither club get in touch whilst the summer window is open.
"We did a tremendous piece of business last year signing Michael on a four-year contract," he said. “That was an improved deal because of the exploits from last season.
"But as far as I'm concerned Michael is at the club as a Hull City player, it would be difficult to hang onto him if a ridiculous bid came in but as we stand no bids are on the table."
