Hull City refuse to accept Zamora defeat
10:17 AM 01 August, 2009
Hull City Football Club are refusing to accept defeat in their pursuit of Bobby Zamora.

The Tigers have had an offer of £5million accepted by Fulham for the striker, but the Londoners have revealed they are more than happy to allow the 28-year-old to stay at Craven Cottage.

Phil Brown, though, is hopeful the former West Ham United striker opts for a new challenge at the KC Stadium, after a disappointing goal return for the Cottagers last season.

"There's no progress on Bobby, but I'll reaffirm that the door is still open and I'll remain hopeful," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail. "We're haggling over the personal terms, but that's only normal."
