Burnley Football Club remain interested in signing Fernando Guerrero.

The Clarets have had the Independiente del Valle youngster during their pre-season tour of America, and Owen Coyle admits a deal for the midfielder could still be struck.

"He is a player we like,” Coyle told Sky Sports.

"We've continued a bit of dialogue with his club and we will probably know more at the start of the week. He is an exciting young player and we'll see what comes of it."
