Sunderland just won’t give up on Cattermole
Sunderland Football Club are refusing to give up on Lee Cattermole.
Steve Bruce signed the player for Wigan Athletic last summer, when he took him from Middlesbrough for a bargain £3.5million, and he now wants him at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats have already failed with two offers for the England Under-21 international, as the Latics continue to insist that the midfielder is simply not for sale.
However, despite reported interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, Bruce has not given up hope of signing Cattermole this month, which suggests a third bid is in the offing.
