Franco Di Santo is ready to prove he can make it in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers.

The young Argentine striker will spend an initial six months on loan at Ewood Park from Chelsea, and he is determined to make a name for himself at the Lancashire club.

"I am very happy to be here because I think Blackburn Rovers is a big team for me and I want to improve," Di Santo told Rovers Player. "I want to do my best for Blackburn Rovers.

“For me it is important because I need to improve, score and be happy. Sam Allardyce and he convinced me to come here. I will try to score every game if my friends cross to me."
