Bolton Wanderers Football Club are ready to offload Danny Shittu.

The defender only arrived at the Reebok Stadium from Watford last summer, but he endured a frustrating season as Gary Cahill and Andrew O’Brien formed an impressive central pairing.

And with Zat Knight being added to the squad this summer, Gary Megson has revealed he is prepared to listen to offers for the 28-year-old Shittu.

"There is quite a bit of interest in Danny and we will see if it materialises into anything more concrete," Megson told the Bolton News.
