Heurelho Gomes insists he wants his future to be at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

After a shaky start to life in England the Brazilian goalkeeper enjoyed a fine second half to last season, showing why £7.8million was spent to sign him from PSV Eindhoven.

Harry Redknapp is said to remain unconvinced about his number one, but the player insists he plans to remain at White Hart Lane despite claiming interest from other clubs.

“The club decides my future, I don't decide these things," he said in the Tottenham Journal. "When Tottenham don’t need me, many clubs want me. They call me all the time but I want to stay here."
