Hull City’s McCormack deal on the ropes
Hull City Football Club’s move for Ross McCormack has hit a snag.
The Tigers are eager to sign the Cardiff City ahead of the new season, but their move to sign the striker has hit a wall after a third party tried to get involved in a possible deal.
"Hull City had a bid rejected by Cardiff City and the deal has been held up by a third party who has tried to get involved in the move," agent Willie McKay told skysports.com.
"It is upsetting for Ross as he just wants to concentrate on his football and he does not need this hanging over him. Like any player Ross would like to play in the Premier League.
“But unfortunately third parties get involved saying they will get things done and they only end up complicating matters. At the minute Ross is a Cardiff City player.
“He will continue to give 100 per cent to Cardiff. I believe Peter Ridsdale is a realist and if the right offer comes in he will sell, if it doesn't he won't sell, simple as that."
